Essay on Importance of Time :- Life is like a stream of a river. Just as the stream of the river continues to move forward crossing the high and low land, in the same way, the stream of life also keeps on moving forward, enduring many struggles of happiness and sorrow and success and failure. Flow is life and stagnation is death. The purpose of life is to keep moving forward - in this is happiness, there is joy. But the thing that works for happiness and in moving forward is time. Those who can catch the running time and walk along with it, they are successful in life. In fact, proper utilization of time is the key to development.
In English, time is called 'money', but time is more valuable than 'money', it is priceless. Wealth is today, wasted tomorrow, it can come again the day after tomorrow, but the time which has gone into the pit of the past, it cannot come back even after making lakhs of efforts. That is why all the saints and mahatmas who have been there have preached to recognize the value of time. Time is life and to waste time is to destroy life. There is a common saying that "Whoever destroys time, time destroys him." We have got human life because of the majesty of so many virtues; If we don't recognize it, then we will regret it later. That's why one should work on recognizing the time. Some people are often heard saying to hide their laziness and indolence that - "Sir! What to do? There is no time." And if you see the routine of such people, then you will find that people keep sleeping till 9-10 o'clock. Those who waste so much time in sleeping , where will they have time for good and more work? Sleeping, taking walks etc. are essential parts of life, but they should have limits. Dynamic time waits for no one.
Time is such a boon to man that for the one who makes good use of it, it heaps of happiness and success, and for the one who misuses it, it throws him into such a deep pit of degradation from which it is impossible to rise. Time decides the fate of the biggest battles of the world. The life-history of the people who are called great in the world today is a testimony to the fact that their every moment was counted. The timing of each of his work was fixed, because he knew that proper use of time is the key to success.
After centuries of slavery, our country, which has become free, has to be taken to the peak of progress and development. Seeing us, other countries of the world have gone ahead and far ahead of us. Their vehicles are measuring the moon-sun distance and we are still far behind them. Why? There is only one answer to this question that they have recognized time, understood its value and worked day and night to build the country. Like them, if we understand the value of time, we can make our country full of natural resources more advanced and developing. It is the duty of every citizen to understand the importance of time to take the country to the peak of progress and development.
